Mendly is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

Throughout the Mendly app, certain links labeled "Buy at Amazon" are affiliate links. When you tap one of these links and complete a qualifying purchase, Mendly may earn a small commission from Amazon. This costs you nothing extra — the price you pay is the same as if you had visited Amazon directly.

How we choose what to recommend

We recommend tools and materials based only on what we believe will help you complete the repair safely and successfully. We don't get paid more for recommending one product over another, and we don't favour particular brands because of partnerships outside the standard Amazon Associates Program. If a free or non-Amazon option would serve you better, we'll say so.

What this means for you

You'll always see the disclosure in the app, directly under any list that contains affiliate links — before you tap anything.
Tapping a "Buy at Amazon" link opens Amazon in your browser. From that point on, Amazon's own privacy policy and terms apply.
You're never required to use the affiliate link. You're free to search Amazon — or any other retailer — directly for the same item.
The affiliate program does not influence our repair plans. The same plan would be generated whether or not affiliate links existed.

Why we use affiliate links at all

Mendly is free to download and free to use. There's no subscription, no premium tier, no in-app purchases. Affiliate revenue is the only way we cover the cost of the AI analysis and keep the app free for everyone. If we earn enough commission, the app stays free; if not, we'll need to revisit the business model — and we'd be transparent about that change.
